Long Melon (Kakari) F1: Long Strike Cucumber Variety: long, cylindrical, light green to green, very delicious and tender, ready in 55–60 days.
Long cantaloupe is also known as "Kakri." Fruits are pale green in colour,with a smooth, white epidermis and white flesh. It is typically consumed fresh as a salad with salt and pepper. Because the fruit has a cooling effect, it is mostly eaten in the summer.
Soil
It grows in a wide range of soil types, from sandy loam to heavy soil with excellent drainage. Soil pH ranges from 5.8 to 7.5, which is ideal for vegetable cultivation.
Land preparation
Long-term melon cultivation necessitates well-prepared ground. 2–3 plowings followed by harrowing are required to reduce the soil to a fine tilth.
Irrigation -
