2. इसकी बनावट नारियल के पेड़ जैसी होती है इसलिए घुन आसानी से पकड़ा जा सकता है।
4. ताड़ का लाल घुन दुनिया के कई हिस्सों में ताड़ का आर्थिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण कीट है।
5. घुन फेरोमोन ट्रैपिंग का उपयोग करके FELDA और FELCRA के तेल ताड़ के बागानों में भी पाया गया है, लेकिन अभी तक ताड़ के तेल के पेड़ों के प्रभावित होने का कोई सबूत नहीं है।
6. बकेट ट्रैप का प्रयोग प्रति एकड़ 6 से 8 की संख्या में किया जा सकता है।

Description -
1. Chipku bucket trap is an effective solution to capture harmful beetles of coconut and nut crops.
2. It has same texture as of coconut tree so beetle gets captured easily.
4. The red palm weevil is an economically important pest of palms in many parts of the world.
5. The weevil has also been found in oil palm plantations of FELDA and FELCRA by using pheromone trapping, but so far there is no evidence of the oil palm trees being affected.
6. The bucket trap can be used in 6 to 8 numbers per acres.
