Syngenta Glo-it Fungicide (Propiconazole 13.9% and Difenoconazole 13.9% EC) It is suggested in rice crops for the control of sheath blight and dirty panicle diseases. Its ability to combat disease results in improved disease management and a healthier flag leaf, which results in a higher yield. Prodizole encourages healthy and productive tillers, which allows for optimum yield potential.
Propiconazole is a triazole fungicide known as a DMI (demethylation inhibitory fungicide) because it binds to and inhibits the 14-alpha demethylase enzyme from demethylating ergosterol precursors. Ergosterols are not incorporated into growing fungal cell membranes without this demethylation step, and cellular development is halted.
Difenoconazole is a fungicide used to prevent disease in fruits and vegetables, cereals, and other field products. Although it is a potentially mobile molecule, due to its poor aqueous solubility, it is unlikely to leach. However, it has the possibility for particle-bound transport. It is mildly volatile and persistent in the earth and aquatic environments. There are some worries about its bioaccumulation potential. Humans, mammals, birds, and the majority of aquatic creatures are moderately toxic.
