Bayer Fame Flubendiamide 480 SC (39.35% ww) Insecticide Control of Broad Range of Lepidoptera Pests.
Bayer fame insecticide contains Flubendiamide 480 SC (39.35% w/w) , the first member of a novel chemical insecticide class known as diamides. Flubendiamide, unlike other insecticide classes that target the insect nervous system, acts on receptors in insect muscles, causing an instant cessation of feeding and thus avoiding crop damage. It is effective against a wide variety of Lepidoptera pests. Because of its distinct mode of action, the compound is well suited for use in insect resistance control programs.
Flubendiamide, in contrast to most economically successful insecticides, disrupts normal muscle function in insects and thus constitutes a novel, unique mode of action. Flubendiamide causes these symptoms by activating ryanodine-sensitive intracellular calcium release channels (ryanodine receptors, RyR), as demonstrated by Ca2+ fluorescence measurements in insect neurons and recombinant cells expressing the cloned ryanodine receptor from Drosophila melanogaster.
Flubendiamide is a ryanoid-class synthetic petrochemical pesticide that works on receptors in insect muscles. A perfluorinated functional group is present in the molecule.

➜ Flubendiamide SC 480 is miscible with most traditional crop protection products. Miscibility tests should be conducted previous to application in some cases.
