Adama Shamir Tebuconazole 6.7% + Captan 26.9% w/w SC is a combination of fungicides that is used for the control of powdery mildew and anthracnose disease of chillies, powdery mildew, Alternaria leaf spot/blight, and scab of apples.
The active ingredients in Adama Shamir are tebuconazole and captan. Tebuconazole belongs to a family of chemicals called triazoles that work by interfering with the production of RNA in insects' cells. Captan is a fungicide that inhibits the germination of fungal spores and the growth of plant tissue.
Adama Shamir is a fungicide that protects plants from various diseases caused by fungi like powdery mildew, rust, leaf spots, etc. It is a combination of tebuconazole and captan and can be used as a preventive or curative measure against fungal diseases on crops like cotton, soybeans, rice, oilseed rape, and maize.
It is a systemic fungicide that works from the inside out to protect the plant. It enters the plant through its roots and spreads throughout its entire system. It then destroys any germinating spores before they can infect new leaves or flowers on the plant.
