Syngenta folio gold fungicide, which contains (Folio gold syngenta technical name - Metalaxyl-M at 3.3% + Chlorothalonil at 33.1% SC), is used primarily against diseases caused by oomycete fungi, such as downy mildews and late blights. Its dual action provides more effective and long-lasting disease control. It improves crop health and aids in crop stand development.
Folio Gold has systemic and residual characteristics. Metalaxyl-M is a systemic fungicide that controls the pathogens downy mildew, white rust, and late blight. It is quickly absorbed by green plant parts (within 30 minutes), transported upward in the sap stream, and distributed in the leaves; it controls fungi from within the plant by inhibiting fungal growth and reproduction, as well as protecting new growth generated after application.
Chlorothalonil is a broad-spectrum protectant fungicide that controls many vegetable diseases; it forms a protective film on plant surfaces and prevents spore germination.
Folio Gold offers excellent disease control both internally and externally by combining these two ingredients.
