Dhanuka M-45 Mancozeb 75% WP Contact Fungicide, Best for Fungus, Control of Leaf Blight, Downy Mildew, Blast
Dhanuka M-45 (Mancozeb 75% WP) is a contact fungicide of the dithiocarbonate group, which checks the growth of fungus and the spread of diseases. It reduces the activity of enzymes in the fungus, which in turn reduces its energy production and finally results in the death of the fungus.
Mancozeb is a non-systemic dithiocarbonate agricultural fungicide with multi-site protective action upon contact. It is a combination of two other dithiocarbonates: maneb and zineb. The mixture controls many fungal diseases in a wide range of field crops, fruits, nuts, vegetables, and ornamentals.
It is a broad-spectrum fungicide with protective action. When exposed to the air, the product becomes fungitoxic. It is converted to an isothiocyanate, which inactivates the sulfhydryl (SH) groups in the enzymes of fungi. Metals are sometimes exchanged between mancozeb and fungal enzymes, causing disruptions in fungal enzyme function.
Dhanuka M-45 (Mancozeb 75% WP) It has several advantages.
➜ A broad-spectrum fungicide with multisite action that controls a wide range of diseases caused by phycomycetes, advanced fungi, and other groups of fungi that infect many crops.
used for foliar sprays, nursery drenching, and seed treatments in many crops.
➜ It can be used repeatedly without any danger of developing resistance for a number of years.
best fungicide to be used along with systemic fungicides to prevent and/or delay resistance development.
➜ In addition to disease control, it also provides manganese and zinc in trace amounts to crops, which keeps plants green and healthy.
➜ It is quite safe from natural enemies and the environment.
➜ Thus part of integrated disease management. As compared to other fungicides, it is less expensive in the long run on account of nutritional benefits and superior crop protection, which results in high yields and better quality.
➜ The king of all fungicides is the broad-spectrum fungicide, which controls a large number of diseases with its multisite action, caused by phycomycetous, advanced, and other groups of fungi infecting many crops.
➜ Applications include foliar sprays, nursery drenching, and seed treatments.
➜ Provides Nutrition: In addition to disease control, it provides manganese and zinc to the crop, thereby correcting the deficiency of these micronutrients.
