Chemical Composition - Dimethomorph 50% WP
Description -
1. Ditaf is a systemic fungicide that protects plants from fungi in the water mold family, such as late blight and downy mildew.
2. Ditaf can control the late blight disease in potato, and tomato crops very effectively.
Method Of Application - Spraying.
Tata ditaf fungicide dose - 1-1.5 gm per liter
Mode of action -
1. Ditaf affects cell wall production in fungi by inhibiting sterol synthesis.
2. It disintegrates the cell wall (cell wall lysis) to kill the pathogen.
Features -
1. It has translaminar action - good uptake into sprayed leaves.
2. Acts on treated plant parts but is also redistribution in the plant tissue.
3. It provides good rain fastness and longer residual control.
4. Offers good residual activity for long spay intervals
5. It offers a unique and novel mode of action with no cross-resistance to phenylamide or strobilurin.
6. It is effective against different stages of the fungal lifecycle.
7. The activity of acrobat fungicide stops, contains, and kills late blight spores, preventing the spread of blight between plants and neighboring fields.
