Termites:-
It causes more damage in dry climate, light lands and areas with lack of irrigation. Affects germination by first affecting the sown eyes of sugarcane. Later on, making tunnel-like holes in the pores, the soil appears filled. Although the queen termite lives in Bali, but white to ant-sized worker termites are seen in the soil in the field. It causes 30 to 40 percent damage to the crop. Their outbreak lasts throughout the year, but increases rapidly in summer.

White Grub (White Braid): -
This insect destroys 20 to 40 percent and sometimes the entire crop by damaging various crops whose roots are damaged by this pest. Its infestation is more by applying raw manure in the field. Sugarcane leaves turn yellow and dry up due to the grubs eating the roots. Dried plants start appearing everywhere in the field. Its control is necessary from May to August.
