Soil Testing with BharatAgri -
It is very important to conduct soil testing because crop production depends on the fertility of the soil. Soil testing provides you with complete information about the overall health of the soil, such as its physical and chemical properties, deficiency of nutrients, soil fertility, etc. which helps in achieving higher productivity per acre of the crop with reduction in cost.

Key Points to Note -
➔ After placing the order, you will receive a call for soil testing samples at your address.
➔ Within 1 to 3 days of placing the order, the soil samples will be picked up by a courier boy.
➔ The farmer must write their name, phone number, and address on a small box and tape it properly to prevent leakage.
➔ The soil sample should only be up to 500 grams to be collected by the courier boy.
➔ Soil testing report information will be provided to farmers via BharatAgri app chat/WhatsApp within 8 days from the date of soil sampling reaching the soil testing lab.

How to Take Soil Samples for Testing?
➔ Select 8 to 10 different locations from the field for sampling.
➔ Dig a hole of 15 cm or half a foot deep from the surface in the shape of "V" at each location and collect the soil.
➔ Mix the soil and divide the soil into 4 parts and discard the two parts facing each other.
➔ Mix the remaining two parts and repeat the same process again until you are left with 500 gms of soil
➔ Now, pack this 500 gms of soil in a clean bag for collection
