✅ विवरण -
1. यह ठण्ड के मौसम का बारहमासी पौधा है।
2. यह अत्यधिक पौष्टिक है और नाइट्रोजन का प्रचुर स्रोत प्रदान करता है।
3. बीजों से कालीन घास उगाकर घना मैदान बनाएं।
4. चारे की पहली कटाई 45 दिनों के बाद की जाती है।
5. 25-30 दिन की अवधि के बाद दूसरी कटाई।
6. इसके बाद कटाई के बाद 18-22 दिनों के नियमित अंतराल पर कटाई करें।

✅ सिंचाई की आवश्यकता -
1. बीज बोने के तुरंत बाद तथा एक सप्ताह बाद सिंचाई करें।
2. उसके बाद गर्मी में 8-10 दिन और सर्दी में 10-15 दिन के अंतराल पर मौसम के अनुसार नियमित रूप से सिंचाई करने की सलाह दी जाती है।

✅ बुआई की विधि - प्रसारण, ड्रिलिंग।
✅ बुआई का मौसम - मई-जून और सितंबर-अक्टूबर और अप्रैल-मार्च।
✅ बुआई की दूरी - पंक्ति से पंक्ति: 30 सेमी, पौधे से पौधे: 20 सेमी।

✅ बीज दर - 2-5 किलोग्राम प्रति एकड़।
