Description -
1. It is a plant growth regulator used for the purpose of inducing flowering and preventing the shedding of flower buds and unripe fruits.

Mode Of Action -
Planofix when sprayed on plants prevents the formation of the abscission layer by suppressing ethylene gas produced and hence thereby preventing the shedding of flowers, buds, and fruits.

Advantages -
1. Prevents the natural shedding of squares, bolls in cotton, flowers in vegetables, chilies, and fruits like mango.
2. Reduces pre-harvest berry drop in grapes.
3. Increases fruit size in pineapple and grapes.

Method Of Application - Spraying
Dose of planofix - 1 ml Planofix in 4.5 Litre of water = 10 ppm.
10 ml Planofix in 4.5 Litre of water=100 ppm.
