Product Description -
Vitormone is a free-living, nitrogen-fixing bacteria commonly found in soil and freshwater environments. These beneficial microbes play a vital role in enhancing soil fertility by converting atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia, a form readily available for plant uptake. Vitormone operates independently and does not require a host plant to fix nitrogen. In addition to nitrogen fixation, Vitormone also produces growth-promoting substances like vitamins, gibberellins, and indole acetic acid (IAA), which contribute to improved seed germination, root development, and overall plant health.
Mode of Action -
Vitormone has the ability to grow and fix atmospheric nitrogen on plant leaves. Dormant form, cysts, of Vitormone germinates in the presence of oxygen, water, and a carbon source to form colonies on the leaf surface. These Vitormone colonies fix atmospheric nitrogen and convert it into amino acids. They also secrete alginates, vitamins, and other plant growth-promoting substances such as IAA (Indole-3-acetic acid), siderophores, and more. These beneficial compounds, along with nitrogen in the form of amino acids, are readily absorbed by the plant leaves, leading to enhanced plant vigor and a more robust initiation of flowering and fruiting.
