जिंक की कमी के लक्षण -
1. पत्तियों पर पीले चकत्ते, उनका पीला पड़ना तथा चित्तीदार होना जिंक की कमी के प्रमुख लक्षण हैं।
2. तने का छोटा पड़ना तथा फूली हुई गाँठ और उनका झाड़ियों जैसा रूप भी इसकी कमी के लक्षण हैं।
3. ऐसे में पत्तियों छोटी और पतली हो जाती हैं। पौधे के जड़ के विकास में कमी आती है।

जिंक के फायदे -
1. जिंक के प्रयोग से पौधों में वृद्धि अच्छी होती है तथा साथ मेंप्रमुख पोषक तत्वों का उपयोग पूरी तरह होता है।
