✅ Product description -
➔ Monceren is a non-systemic contact fungicide.

➔ It is used as a foliar spray for the control of sheath blight disease of rice and as a tuber treatment for the control of black scurf disease in potatoes.

➔ Monceren is a protective sheath blight fungicide having contact action and long-lasting efficacy; specifically against Rhizoctonia solani.

✅ Mode of action -
➔ It is lipophilic and hence penetrates the plant cuticle and from there it does not undergo secondary re-distribution into leaf tissue.
➔ As a result, a protective layer is formed on the leaf, stem, and within the cuticle which is not washed off due to rain and not subjected to losses by systemic translocation.

➔ Active ingredient with different modes of action, provides excellent disease control.
➔ Controls initial sheath blight infection and prevents its upward spread.
➔ Exhibits high phytotoxicity tolerance with advised application rates.

1.6 ml per litre of water,
24 ml per 15 litre pump,
240 ml per acre spray.

250 ml to treat 800 kg of potato seed.
