How to Use -
1. Trap Assembly: Assemble the Insect Bucket Trap, which consists of four key components:
➔ Bottom Container: Holds water and captures insects that fall in.
➔ Top Container: Fits over the bottom container, allowing insects to enter through designated openings.
➔ Top Lid Cover: Secures the lure in place and provides access for insects to enter the trap.
➔ Locking Ring and Hook: The locking ring secures the lid, while the hook is used to hang the lure.
2. Lure Setup: Attach the appropriate lure to the hook in the top lid cover. Choose from:
AHT-Rhino Beetle Lure: For attracting Rhinoceros Beetles (Oryctes rhinoceros).
AHT-Red Palm Lure: For attracting Red Palm Weevils (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus).
3. Placement: Position the traps around your crop area, preferably in high-activity zones or at key locations within the field. Ensure traps are stable and the lure is properly hung.
4. Monitoring: Regularly inspect the traps to check for captured pests and maintain water levels. Replace lures every 4-6 weeks or as needed to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
