Galigan is effective against a wide range of yearly broadleaf and grass weeds. It is used in bulb crops such as onion field crops for pre-plant, pre-emergence, and post-emergence uses. Galigan has a lengthy residual activity and little leaching. To trigger the residual effect, only a small amount of rain or irrigation is required.
