The broad-spectrum insecticide Adama Plethora Insecticide (Novaluron 5.25% + Indoxacarb 4.5% SC) is used to manage pests such as borers, leaf eaters, and leaf folders. It is highly suggested for caterpillar control in grains (Black gram, Green gram, and Red gram), peas (Chickpea, Pigeon pea), oil seeds (Groundnut, Soybean), fruit vegetables (Tomato, Chili), and cereal grains. (Paddy). Plethora is a broad-spectrum lepidopteran insecticide that destroys adult moths and butterflies that eat farm products' leaves, flowers, branches, and fruits. This product is effective against caterpillars found on a variety of fruit plants. Adama Plethora Insecticide is the result of the combined activity of two active ingredients: novaluron (5.25%) and indoxacarb (4.5%). It is a selective, contact, systemic, and stomach insecticide with a delayed release feature for inside or outside application to keep lepidopteran insects such as armyworms, cutworms, and budworms away from delicate crops in vegetables and fruits.
Chitin production is inhibited by novaluron. Larvae hatching from eggs are unable to progress to the next step as a result of this action. The transformation of embryos into caterpillars is hampered. This is significant because products are severely harmed during this stage of pest life cycles.
Indoxacarb paralyzes the caterpillar's nerve system. This causes the stage to die immediately.
