2. Initially, deep, long, whitish spots appear on the leaves.
3. The middle part of the spots becomes purple at first and then turns black, many spots are mixed with each other and dry up.
4. As the leaves dry up one after the other, the onion does not growand the heads of the plants become soft.
5. 25 to 30 percent loss can occur if the outbreak is early.
